Biography
As an experienced keynote speaker, trainer, and coach, Dana has worked with executives and team members at hundreds of companies across various industries. With over 15 years of sales and leadership experience, Dana has recruited and trained results-driven teams, always leading by example and being a top-level producer.
A native of San Diego, California, Dana originally graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles. As a member of the university's rowing team, she learned valuable lessons about perseverance, teamwork, leadership, and mental fortitude early on. When a spinal injury abruptly ended her collegiate athletic career, Dana applied these lessons to a new career working in PR and marketing. She quickly discovered a passion and talent for consulting, speaking and mentoring.
Joining the Tom James Company, Dana relocated to open a new location in Los Angeles. A true maximizer of productivity, she grew the business of female clientele to the second largest in the nation and consistently ranked in the top 1% in generating new business.
In 2014, Dana joined Southwestern Consulting, fully embracing the opportunity to coach individuals, train leaders and their teams, and take the stage as a keynote speaker—always seeking to help people own their seats and achieve their highest calling. She recently broke the long-standing record at Southwestern Coaching for the most clients engaged in a year by any coach.
Dana is a powerhouse who consistently leads with integrity, inspiring team members and clients, and smashing company records along the way. She has a specific passion for helping women step into their power, embrace their unique stamp on the world, and lead lives of purpose. Dana resides in Brooklyn, New York. She is a dog lover, avid reader, community activist/volunteer, world traveler, and a self-proclaimed morning person.
